The Bible Study

Brendan Murphy - The glory of the Lord.
Once I was leading a Bible study of young adults of some who were going to a Bible college. Naturally we would pray for one and another and these bible college students were motivated to pray on their own. One day I was brought to heaven and I was standing in a field of rolling hills covered what looked like golden wheat. I was looking at what appeared to be the sun sitting on the edge of the horizon. I moved my arms in front of my eyes to protect them, but I noticed it didn’t hurt my eyes to look at it. At that moment a strange thing started to happen. What I thought was the sun started to move horizontally across the scene. At that moment I knew I was looking at the glory of the Lord. It was the same pure light which I saw behind the cross back at calvary year before. The light streamed out like flames from a welders torch in every direction. It was so pure and its fullness so great that I could not actually make out the Lord’s form. The next time the Bible study met I started to tell them what the Lord had done. They stopped me in mid-story and told me that they had prayed that the Lord would show me His glory.
